Hey,

Can anyone tell me if they have bought and fitted this brace to their MX

https://www.mx5parts.co.uk/motorsport-front-superlight-brace-mk1-25-p-360.html

and if it would fit my RHD MK2.5 (2003) car which has a larger larger washer bottle that is mounted on a bracket slightly forward of the bulkhead?

I did call MX5 parts but unfortunately the guy I spoke to said he didn't know if it would fit my particular car and suggested I inquire on the forum.

I definitely haven't got the clearance for the brake master cylinder add on mod, but I'm not really that interested in that aspect of the bar, I just want the brace to stiffen the front.

The blurb on their website suggests it won't fit a LHD car with a larger washer bottle but mine is RHD so not too sure.....

Thanks in advance.

I have the same dilemma with my 2002 NBFL 1.8L S-VT auto.

Wanted to fit same brace bar. MX5 parts very unhelpful.  Did wonder if the master cylinder stop modification could be shortened to fit, again MX5 parts no comment.

Did have a few replies previously on here, but still getting nowhere.

Trying to source a brace from scrap (dismantlers) yards but can't find one in the few yards in Torbay, South Devon area.

If you find a solution let me know please, and vice versa.
