Hi, newbie on the block.

I have just bought a brand new MX5-RF Sports Black. Love it. I am however interested how to get rid of the screen that comes up on poweup. I can't find a post about it on here. It's the screen that asks you to "agree" I cringe when ii see it.

I hope I've posted this in the correct place.

Thanks in advance

Mark

I just ignore it as it disappears after a few seconds, and I've had my ND for almost 3 years.

Earlier models of the car you could change the duration that the warning stays on the screen through some software tweaks that could be made by using a USB drive. On current cars I believe you need to physically make some wiring changes in order to be able to hack it.

All sorts of things you can change by using a USB stick and visiting the Mazda AIO Tweaks website. However Mazda have closed the door and it won't work on v59.00.502 or higher. There is a work around but it involves pocking wires in the back of the MZD and reprogramming it using adapters and software. Feel free to look on the Tweaks website but I think 99% of us would chicken out at that point!

Thanks for replies. I had a look at Mazda AIO and the work around is too scary. I'll have to learn to ignore it.

Noticed this is only your second post so first. Welcome to the endless grin

Can't help with the screen thing as i have an NA and don't get involved with all the new tech stuff. However you will find the  answer your looking for on here if it exists. Good luck.
