If you ignore the music and can focus long enough on the video this may be a different shade of blue (possibly dynamic blue) on the ND:

Get what you mean about the music! A tad overlong in duration but never mind. What about calling the new colour San Francisco Bay Blue?

Totally agree an ND in Aurora Blue would look stunning. There is a brighter blue on the 124 Abarth thats a similar colour that makes the more ugly sister pop. Would really make the car stand out from the crowd. Something you would think mazdas marketing department would want? Take a look at some of the bright colours in a Porsche showroom. We shouldn't have to put up with such a poor range of colours.

Looks the same colour as the one I picked up in late June. Eternal blue mica is what mine is described as.

Mazda could learn a thing or two from VW in terms of car colours.

The 2019 Golf R will apparently be available in 40 colours, some of them are very striking.  See the link below.

I'd like to see a green option and a yellow one, for a start!

PS: To be a bit more specific - an emerald green (or similar as I believe that's toxic) metallic with bronze wheels. and a solid yellow with black wheels.

So would I! That new Eternal blue is ok (from the video it reminds me of the Laguna blue mk1) but I want something stronger, like the aurora blue/winning blue or my own 10AE (innocent blue). But, if Mazda released a (bright) green or yellow one, I'd be interested.

I've seen the new Eternal blue and the previous blue, sitting side by side, on a pair of MX-5's at my local dealer.

The posted photo is somewhat misleading it didn't look anywhere near that bright / exciting in real life. TBH It looked a bit lighter but not a significant change.

I'm very much with Tiki and Countryboy. I'd love Mazda to give the ND some head turning color schemes.

I fail to understand why Mazda's marketing department aren't looking at F-Types / Porsches etc and don't think that this is the way they should be taking the ND

As a resource you would think they would use the OC to canvas our opinion. Surely I'm not the only one who is unhappy/fed-up with Soul Red, a collection of whites, Black and dull blues?
