I am currently in the process of rebushing my MK1. I've come to start installing the superpro bushes, but arrived at a question I didnt anticipate.

The bushes for the front wishbones, upper and lower, have a thick edge. I understand this is to deal with the increased braking forces. So I can understand that the leading edge of the opening should have the thicker edge.

But there is the rear opening on the wishbone too. Should the bush be installed so the thicker edge is at the rear of the opening, so they are mirror images of one another, or should the thicker edge again go on the leading edge to help address braking?

I hope I've explained it ok, a diiagram might have been easier but hopefully you can see the point.
