Sunday April 30th 2017 – A great turn out as it was a Bank Holiday weekend, and although a little blustery, the sun was shining!

Starting off in Washington, 21 cars turned up – not what Patricia was expecting as she had only printed 15 maps!

The route went via Hardwick Country Park, through Teeside and along the coast to Staithes.

Staithes is a quaint little fishing village in North Yorkshire, and the plan was to have fish and chips in the Cod and Lobster pub.

The return journey included some single track roads and back across the North Yorkshire Moors, ending up back in Yarm.  A

great day out, and some folk even caught the sun….
