All in all an amazing Rally and one to be proud of
It will come are no surprise that this Rally has topped all records!
With well over 2200 MX-5s and over 5000 visitors in attendance it is the Club’s largest event to date.
We signed up 32 New Members with 9 existing members renewing, the Club store exceeded last year with takings of nearly £7300. Nearly 500 people paid to come to the event on the day also. I am also pleased to report that despite this huge number of visitors only a handful of minor incidents but nothing significant to report.
The feedback from all quarters has been, save some parking grumbles, brilliant! Fuzz complimented the professional organisation and the lovely nature of everyone there, the Fire rescue display team said it was one of the best events they have attended, the Museum have said it was one of the biggest events they had seen and while Mazda have said they didn’t have the greatest number doing the challenge they were flat out with interest in the cars, our excellent compere Dougie Robertson and indoor host Tim Watson both had a great day and received a huge amount of positive feedback and every trader and smallholder I have spoken to had a brilliant day.
