Almost one thousand Mazda MX-5s of all models, types and colours packed the scenic grounds of Goodwood Motor Circuit on Sunday, April 29 for the annual MX-5 Owners Club Spring Rally, kicking the season off in grand style.

MX-5s stretched as far as the eye could see around Woodcote and down the Lavant Straight, lined up on both sides of the historic circuit, creating a seemingly endless walk of our favourite little sports cars.

On pit straight, a full grid of preened and polished MX-5s lined up into the starting boxes, as if waiting to commence the ultimate club race.

Inside the paddock, proud owners polished those MX-5s that were entered into the concours competition, and club trader stands exhibited and sold almost every imaginable part and accessory that an MX-5 owner could ever wish for.

All told, some 929 MX-5s packed into the grounds of Goodwood, making for quite a sight.

The highlight of the day came when the parade laps took place, with almost all of the MX-5s lining up for several laps of the circuit. Parked nose to tail and three wide, the gathered MX-5s stretched for over half of the 2.3-mile course.
