What a great day out. First the go karting at Filching Campbell Circuit and then a spot of lunch in a very sunny position.
Then onto the manor house at 2pm
What an incredible place this is. Passing through this sleepy little area with only a handful of cottages you could almost miss the manor by blinking which is tucked away surrounded by trees. Karl Foulkes Halbard, who owns the manor and motor museum gave us a great tour which took altogether around 2 hours. There is such an amazing amount to see. Its like an Aladin’s cave. You keep looking and finding things you did not see last time.
And finally onto the workshop containing Sir Malcolm Campbell’s record-breaking wooden speedboat, Bluebird which has been worked on by dedicated volunteers at Filching and relaunched last year at Kent’s Bewl Water
Thanks everyone who sent in some photos.
