In what is a change from the recent pattern of having major events in the south of the country, we’re proudly returning to the North for what is set to be our biggest and best Spring Rally yet!
Our last few Rallies have been held in the midlands and the south of the country, but now it is time for the North to shine, and show us some of that Northern charm, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The Spring Rally is being held at Elvington Airfield, just 7 miles outside of York. And although it’s some departure from Goodwood, which was all the way down on the South coast – it’s in fact MUCH easier to get to for many more of you. We hope we will see you there!
All you need to do is head towards York, and follow signs for the Air Museum (you can have a look around there too on the day) and you’ll get parked up. If you need more directions, take a look at our ‘getting there’ page on the Spring Rally website HERE.
Elvington is within around a two-and a half to three hour journey for most of the country, and of course there are some beautiful parts of the world surrounding it, where we are sure you can find a charming BnB or something else to make it a great weekend away.
With that in mind, here’s Elvington Airfield on a map, and you’ll see its not all that bad! We can’t wait to see you, and to sweeten the deal, entry is free if you’re a club member OR if you turn up in an MX-5.
We’re going for the world record of ‘Most Mazdas in parade’ so show up in your MX-5 or your Mazda car and we’ll get you involved in the world record. But we can only do it if you join us, so hopefully our directions and maps have taken the sting out of it for you!
