When we put down 21st April for the Heaven Farm bluebell walk and picnic we did not realise it was Easter Sunday. Then we thought, what the heck, let’s do it anyway. About two weeks before the event we had about four cars and then things just escalated, and we ended up with 17 cars and 32 members. Quite a few members travelled from Kent a long day out for them.

It was the hottest day of the year so far and the bluebells really were at their breath-taking best. The aroma in the woods was amazing and the carpets of blue were everywhere.
