Peaks & Pennines

Burton and Lesley Marsland   Welcome to the Peaks & Pennines MX-5 Owners’ Club Website Peaks and Pennines is one of 33 areas that make up the National MX5 Owners Club. Over recent years Peaks and Pennines has grown into a successful and thriving community of like-minded individuals. We are fortunate to have within and around our region some of the most wonderful scenery and roads in the country (we’re biased of course) including the Peak District, the Derbyshire Dales, the Pennines and South Yorkshire Forest, and further afield the Lincolnshire Coast, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Coast. If you’re somewhere on this map, when joining, you are automatically a member of the Peaks and Pennines Area, If your live closer to our area, than another area, you may wish to transfer across to Peaks and Pennines or just join us on our events, either way you will be made very welcome. There’s something for everyone at Peaks and Pennines. Have a good look around the site and see what we have to offer. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. So come on, what are you waiting for? No need to book*, just turn up, Join us ! Burton & Lesley and the rest of the members * Weekends away, or dinner dances will need to be pre booked.

In view of the latest announcements re the spread of the Corona virus and the fact that many of our members are in the at risk age group, I have regrettably decided to cancel ALL Peaksand Pennines runs and social events until further notice

Our Social evenings are at The Rockingham Arms, 8 Main St, Wentworth, S62 7TL

Situated in a private village, part of the Wentworth Estate, the Rockingham Arms is a very old, attractive public house. The whole pub is very traditional and olde worlde with authentic old seating in the main bar and tap room.

Off road parking, good quality food, hand pulled beers, private room. The meetings alternate between the first Wednesday or first Thursday of every month this is to accommodate members who have other commitments. We have exclusive use of the large restaurant which is down the few steps to the left of the main bar. Many people arrive around 6:30 and sample the excellent bar food before the meeting starts at 8:15. Our meetings are open to members and prospective members, you do not need to tell us you are coming or book, just turn up, you will be made very welcome. If you are new to the Peaks and Pennines area or have been a member for some time and never got around to coming to a meeting, come along and join us at this quaint venue.
