Drive down, you can make your own way down or meet and travel together meeting for lunch at the Fire Service College
The first event will be after lunch and details are below.
A 45 minute mini bus tour through the Incident Ground Venues including the –
Bunded Fire Trays and Live Fire Areas, Commercial Buildings, Confined Space Rigs, Domestic Buildings, Drill Towers, Behaviour Attack Units, Behaviour Demonstration Units, Fire Investigation Units, A five storey carbonaceous fire building, a medium sized two storey industrial unit with large medium and small fire compartments, LPG Fire Screen, LPG Split Flange, Main Drill Tower, Motorway (the unique M96 is a realistic four-lane motorway suitable for all road traffic collision scenarios), Oil Rig, Railway, Rig 5 and Rubble Pile, Road Traffic Collision Facility, Simulation Suite, Static Tank, Ship, Dock and Lagoon, Transformer House, Urban Search and Rescue Area
A briefing for the following two days will then take place in the bar this could prove thirsty work and involve several trips to the bar !!!
Departing promptly at 10am for a full day drive around the beautiful Cotswolds stopping off for comfort breaks and lunch then back to the accommodation for evening meal.
Half day drive through the beautiful countryside arriving at Stratford upon Avon where you can have lunch and wander around the shops and take in the sights of this lovely location then make your way home from there as you wish, having had a lovely weekend driving around a beautiful part of our country.
Anyone wanting to stay Sunday night to extend their stay can do so by letting me know when confirming your interest in the weekend.
Also anyone wishing to join for the drive during Saturday can do so by letting me know when confirming your interest please be aware we will depart at 10.00am prompt so you’ll need to be there by 9.45am.

The Cardiff Lounge is open 24 hours a day and is available for those wishing to relax and unwind.
We have two licensed bars onsite: the London Bar and Edinburgh Lounge, both offering a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The London Bar is a great venue to socialise with pool tables, air hockey, darts and table football, as well as satellite TV offering Sky and sports channels. The Edinburgh Lounge is an ideal location for those seeking a quiet space to rest and unwind.
The College Shop can be found in the foyer of Four Shires and offers a selection of convenience items including toiletries, basic non-prescription medication, newspapers, magazines, stamps, telephone top ups, drinks and snacks. Vending of snacks and hot and cold beverages is available 24 hours within the foyer. A cash machine is also available in the Four Shires foyer.
The Muster Bay is located in the main Administration building. Here you can relax and enjoy our Coffee Bar. If you are looking for a late breakfast, mid-morning snack or light lunch you will find them on offer here.
