Cancelled by organisers Sorry

After a discussion with the local authority representative who couldn’t give advice but told me that organisers of events planned for June and July have already cancelled, the club has come to the heartbreaking decision that we must also cancel.
It seems unlikely that social distancing will have been relaxed enough to allow 400+ exhibits and a few thousand visitors to mingle, even outdoors, by June 21st.
Please bear with us and here’s hoping we can have a spectacular Victory over COVID show in 2022!
Stay safe!

If I was only to attend one motor show per year, this would be this one !
Its a come and go as you please event, organised by The Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club,

Each June, on the Monday closest to the summer solstice, we hold our annual motor show. Held in the heart of the Hope Valley, the show attracts over two thousand people each year thanks to an eclectic mix of historic, classic and modern road-going and competition cars and motorcycles.

Starting late afternoon and finishing when everyone goes home, its as informal as that!
(I understand that Big Sue is camping out the night before to get pole position by the entry gate)
There will be over 500 hundred cars on display, from model T’s to today’s race and rally cars,
for every car on display in the pub car park, there will be twice as many cars of interest in the large public car park.
Admission about £5.00 per person
Eight MX5’s will be on display, along with one of the MAX5 series race cars.
BBQ and Hand Pulled Ales, whilst the queues appear long the staff are well organised and you will not be waiting long.
Hope – see you there.
