Dear Members, We are going to enjoy a new venue this year, we will like names and £7 for club stand this will allow you and partner to join us on the club stand. The deadline for those wishing to join us on the stand will be the end of March so let me know asap thank you,

I will collect money from you by the end of March for this so please pay me at the pub meets in March so that I can confirm the booking for us with Chris West as a group booking please do not apply individually this way we can all park on our club stand.

We would like to invite you to the GROOMBRIDGE PLACE CLASSIC Motor Show, Groombridge Hill, Tunbridge Wells TN3 9QG on SUNDAY 17 June 2018, 10am – 4.30pm

The Classic Motor Show is organised by Chris West of Classic Music and Motors, at this wonderful setting, where the house was built 900 years ago and designed by Christopher Wren. We have space for 800 classic vehicles and all vehicles will be on a grass surface. Included in the show will be interesting static displays, classic music show & entertainment, retro market and more. The event will be supporting a local charity.

Please be aware Groombridge Place is an outdoor adventure forest and formal gardens with very little undercover shelter – so please dress accordingly with suitable footwear.

Please note the Manor House is privately owned so cannot be accessed by members of the public.

The Gardens can be visited and include a formal Knot and Oriental Garden, a Secret Garden, the white rose garden and the wonderfully named Drunken Garden, a favourite of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. See the beautiful peacocks which roam the gardens and look out for our famous Zedonk (half zebra, half donkey). The wild fallow deer can often be seen grazing in the meadows beneath the Enchanted Forest. Brave the heights on the new Treetop Walkway, visit Crusoes Pirate ship and mini treetop walkway too!

The Treetop Walk Experience –

The experience is safe for everyone but it is recommended that children under the age of 10 are accompanied by an adult. Adults are required to purchase a ticket to take younger children on the Treetops Walkway. Responsible children of 10 and above can take to the ropes on their own but we recommend a parent watches from below. Sensible footware must be worn to do the Treetop Walkway (E.G. no heels, sandals or flip-flops).

Birds of Prey Flying Display

Licenced Restaurant and Coffee Bar open daily 10am to 4.00pm serving a delicious choice of handmade sandwiches, light lunches, snacks, crisps, chocolate, ice creams & homemade cakes.

Facilities: There is wheelchair access to both the Peacock Bistro and Gift Shop. There are enlarged toilet cubicles in the Peacock Bistro and fully equipped disabled toilet in the main toilet block. There are no disabled facilities within the Forest. Baby Changing Facilities are available.

Guide Dogs: Only Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are admitted into the Enchated Forest and Formal Gardens. Please note that Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are not permitted in the Birds of Prey Flying Arena during their perfomances at 12:30pm and 3:30pm Daily.
