We have been invited to join the Round Robin drive with the Peaks and Pennine gang. If you are of the adventurous kind and don’t mind a drive further afield with some fantastic scenery, you can join this at your closest from home joining point.

Please contact Burton Marsland, the organiser at the details above.

Your starting point for the run is the nearest point on the route to your house, and the finishing point is the nearest point to your house or a point to finish during the run of your choosing. The mileage is just over 125 miles

We were hoping to recommence our standard Sunday Runs in July, but as Boris and his lectern leaning colleagues are concerned that the Covid cases are not reducing as expected we are having to revert to the previous formula.

The run on July 11th  is a repeat of May’s well received this time, the other way around, I was going to say that we will be doing the route in reverse, but this could have been misunderstood by a few members!

To keep potential crowding down and the run more interesting, this time drivers born with an even month of birth should run the route anti-clockwise, those with an odd month, clockwise!.

The route includes The Snake and Woodhead Passes, The Winnats Pass, The Vale of Edale, Monsall Head, and Lime Tree Avenue. Clumber Park.
So the locations to join the run in alphabetical order are near to –

Bakewell, Bamford, Blyth, Bolsover, Bradwell, Braithwell, Castleton, Clumber, Crowden, Cuckney, Edale, Flouch Crossroads, Glossop, Green Moor, Heath, Hope, Hoyland, Kilnhurst, Matlock, Micklebring, Morton, Oldcoates, Pilley, Ravenfield, Rowsley,Tansley,Tibshelf, Tickhill, Wentworth, Wortley,

In addition to adhering to the Track and Trace requirements at any venues, the Club is also required to keep track and trace information for our events in this phase of restrictions. Please can you send me the names of all in your car, your starting point and the direction in which you propose to do the run.
