As with last year, eligibility to enter the car show is based on being an MK&C primary member, as at the end of July 2024 members list (as previously stated).
The judging this year will be based on similar criteria to last year but will now take into account the age and mileage of each vehicle to reflect the nature of the show i.e. ‘Best Kept’.
We look forward to seeing all of our area members and making the evening a huge success.
* Paul (Landlord) at the Cross Keys has kept the BBQ price £15pp, the same as last year.
This year to avoid complication, members should please contact the Cross Keys IN ADVANCE to pay for their BBQ ticket (ticket will be issued on the night).
This can be done by calling the Cross Keys directly (01525 712442) or in person at the upcoming August 7th Meeting at the Cross Keys or by dropping into the Cross Keys.
State name(s) and that you would like to pay for the MX-5 BBQ on 4th September and also advise any dietary requirements (GF, VE etc.).
** The organising sub-committee, decided a £5 cash per car fee (exact money please) would be charged on entry, this will cover the cost of Winner & Runner-Up Rosettes, BBQs for the external judges and other minor incidentals related to this event.
*** It was suggested that many of us have ‘MX-5 related stuff’ that they probably don’t need or would like to pass on to other members. We will supply a table for those attending to show what they have. You could actually bring the item or if it’s too big, bring a photo of what you would like to sell or even give away.
