Blackpool Soul Run & Social, 4th August 2018 (note this is a Saturday)

The Social
Choices, Choices! The day is yours. If you fancy some famous fish chips from
Bispham Kitchen, stop here. Parking is available on side roads. If not, carry on to Queens Promenade, turn left and head for North Pier (which is before you get to the tower).
About half a mile from North Pier turn left into Banks Street and park in Banks Street Car Park (FYI 2DT). Should the car park be full try the nearby car parks of Cocker Street (FYI IRX) or Cocker Square (FYI 2BY). Walk down Banks Street to the prom and turn left. You are now close to the Pier, the Winter Gardens, the Tower, Funny Girls and lots of shops and pubs. It is also close to The Soul Suite (400 yards on the left, FYI IRE) which is our eventual destination. After a bite to eat and some sightseeing, meet up at the Soul Suite at 4pm for some Northern Soul and Motown. If you haven’t eaten yet there is a grill and the usual pub food. If you have eaten, then listen to the music or try some Northern Soul dancing.
