The original October run,  finishing up at The Alford Manor House is cancelled and will now take place next year.

A run around some of the less well known Lincolnshire Villages will now replace it.

The run will leave The Stockyard, at 9:30 leaving  at 10:00, and cross the River Trent at Trent Wharf, Gainsborough before turning onto the B1500, a long straight Roman Road taking us past The Lincoln Showground, from there it s around the new ring road  to our first coffee stop  at The International Bomber Command Centre overlooking Lincoln Town and its Cathedral.

From there its on to The Kinema on the Woods in Woodhall Spa for a further refreshment stop, from there we return to the far side of Lincoln mainly on B roads,

Places will  be reserved for those who  want a mid afternoon meal at The Pyewipe Restaurant, from there it’s a straight forward run back to our area on the A57 and A1

See Pyewipes A La Carte Menu    and Sunday Menu you are dining at The Pyewipe we recommend that you think about your food requirements before booking your spot/s on the run

For those who do not want to do the full run there is plenty to see and do at The IBCC after the coffee stop, there are regular free guided tours around the grounds, The Spire, The Walls of Names, The Peace Gardens and The Chadwick Centre which uses state-of-the-art technology and interactive displays to tell the story of Bomber Command.

Booking is required for this event, and will close  at 7pm on Thursday 3rd October.

Mileage To IBCC only 50 miles, The full route  The Stockyard, IBCC, Woodhall Spa, The Pyewipe Inn,  approx. 100 miles,

Members from all MX-5 Club Areas (and prospective members) are welcome to join or leave at any point, please let the leader know if you intend to do this so we are not waiting for you, and if you are leaving mid route, ensure that the cars behind know you are leaving the convoy,  or you may find you have  extra guests at your house for tea !!!!

Please study the clubs Good Driving Guide before coming on a run

See some of the places we plan to visit (or revisit)

A route Card will be available here the day before the run, please print it out and bring a hard copy with you, reading the route from a tablet or similar is not acceptable . This is a Health and Safety requirement,

As Comfort Stops that are able to take the numbers of cars we are attracting on our runs are difficult to find, I would ask members to buy something at each venue, be it only a cuppa, a buttie or a piece of cake.
