The Final Swansong to Wales in 2019
Saturday night the 30th March 2019, with Sunday night optional
Yes, I’m afraid it’s true, Trish and I are making next year’s run to Wales the last one we take.
We believe 2019 will be the seventh time we will have arranged this weekend, and it’s been a real pleasure leading everyone around Snowdonia, but all good things must come to an end, so if you fancy joining us, please get in touch as soon as possible, as there are only 25 rooms available at the White Water Hotel.
Saturday Night prices
19 Standard at £149.95 (£120.00 per single) per couple for Dinner Bed and Breakfast
3 VIP rooms are an extra £20 per night per room
3 Luxury rooms are an extra £40 per night per room
Sunday Night Prices
Standard £123.85 (single £91.90) plus upgrades if required
The above prices are the same as this year, so I have reserved all 25 rooms
I expect the run to be very similar to this years, however I am considering making a few minor changes for the better, but without spoiling any of our quality social time.
More details will follow, if however you have some ideas you would like to share and lead for the Sunday afternoon, please let me know, and we can start to prepare a list of suggestions for members to choose from.
To reserve your room, please contact me direct by email or mobile
- Email email@example.com
- Mobile 07809232217
I will need to know the following details
- Number of guests and their names
- Are you staying Saturday or do you want both Saturday and Sunday?
- Do you require any upgrades on your room?
- A deposit of £25 per couple is required to secure the room of your choice. This can be paid by cheque or by bank transfer (please phone for details)
Please also be aware that last year we had to disappoint three of our members, as all 25 rooms were booked very quickly. Please do not hesitate.
Jan 2019 Update
Don’t worry, Wales 2019 will not be effected by BREXIT
First things first, for those of you who have received an email from the white water hotel, please ignore it, and for those who didn’t receive an email, don’t worry. It turns out the new receptionist took it upon herself to contact some, but not all.
Now onto to this year’s trip. I’m not expecting to make many (if any) changes to last year, but Trish and I will be doing our usual recce in February in order to make sure that there’s warm water in the hotel and that the pork and soup are not on the menu. We will of course be checking the roads are as good as last year, and take note of any major potholes to avoid.
Sunday afternoon, after a lunch stop at Betwys-y-Coed, the afternoon is yours, however if you have any ideas you would like to share with the rest of the group, and don’t mind leading the run, please let me know and I can send the details out to everyone.
Meanwhile please sit tight until the recce has been completed, at which point I will send each of you the updated plan of the trip.
