4th February 2024 all-day
Milestones Museum of Living History
Leisure Park Churchill Way West Basingstoke RG22 6PG

Hi Everyone,

For this event, we will rendevous at Bishops Waltham Central Car Park, where there are WC facilities and coffee shops can be found and it is conveniently located for a scenic drive up the scenic Meon Valley to Baskingstoke and Milestones Museum.

The details are as follows;

Rendevous Location: Bishops Waltham Central Car Park, Basingwell Street, Bishops Waltham, Hants. SO32 1AL

Rendevous Point What3Words:  ringside.task.buzzards

Admission charge: To be advised when venue confirms the group rate for our visit.

Rendevous Time: 09:30

DepartureTime: 10:00

Estimated Arrival Time: 11:00

Venue What3Words: panic.stream.amused

On arrival at Milestones, we will get our tickets from reception and then venture to the cafe for a coffee before touring the museum if people wish to. The museum has some wonderful exhibits of homes of yesteryear and classic vehicles.

Last time we visited, a few years back, the vintage bus with stairs up the back of it was the one our very own Gerry Hall used to drive, so a great peice of nostalgia for Gerry and us to see. Hopefully, it is still there!

Everyone is free to wander around the museum at their leisure, which normally takes 2 to 3 hours before heading home, or visit the cafe again, as desired.

Please respond to the forum post to confirm your attendance, as we need to update the venue on our numbers to acheive the group discount rate, which is normally given for a minimum of 15 people.
