The Easter Weekend – Ullapool here we come again.
Saturday 15th to Monday 17th April 2017
For our 2017 Easter weekend we’ll be returning one of the very best areas of Scotland in which to enjoy driving your MX-5.
Ullapool, Wester Ross
This is a wild and beautiful area of Scotland, dominated by imposing mountains and breathtaking scenery. When you include some of the very best MX-5 style roads in Europe, the area is absolutely worth visiting whatever the weather.

Once again Maria has managed to negotiate a great deal with the hotel. This is only £1 more than the previous 3 years for a double, and no change for a single
Dinner Bed and Breakfast in a balcony room overlooking Loch Broom for only £135.00 per couple per night.
A balcony room for single occupancy is £67 DB&B per night.
The hotel is holding 15 rooms for us until the end of January. To avoid disappointment make sure you phone the hotel to book your room asap. Make sure you quote The MX-5 Owners Club to ensure you receive the above rates.
The routes and lunch stops on Saturday and Monday will be posted once details are finalised.
The Sunday lunch stop will be at the Applecross Inn, a beautiful location and famed for their excellent bar lunches.
And of course we have the stunning drive over the Bealach Na Bah.

Once again we intend to have an Easter egg rolling competition. Prizes will be given for the best decorated egg and furthest rolled. So remember to bring your decorated hard-boiled egg along and join in the fun.
Following the success of last year’s competition, there will also be an Easter Bonnet competition.

1st Stop: The Green Wellie, Tyndrum (Toilets)
2nd Stop: Fort William. Fuel and lunch stop. Lunch at Brewers Fayre next door to Morrison’s petrol station – choose from standard or snack menu – your choice.
3rd Stop: Loch Ness Centre, Drumnadrochit (Toilets & Re-group)
4th Stop: The Royal Hotel, Ullapool. IMPORTANT: Fill up your petrol tanks for the Sunday run
SUNDAY ROUTE INFORMATION
Start point: The Royal Hotel, Ullapool (Assemble 9:15 for 9:30 Start)
The Easter Sunday drive takes us from Ullapool to Garve then south west to Achnasheen and onwards to Lochcarron.
From there we head west to the Bealach na Ba, where we will have our easter egg rolling competition at the car park at the summit.
After the joys of egg rolling we head to the Applecross Inn for lunch.
After lunch we follow the stunning coast road north to Loch Torridon and onwards to Kinlochewe, Loch Maree, Gairloch and Inverewe before making our way back to Ullapool.
