Arrive from 1000hrs for fuel & refreshments at Ashington Services, where there is a Wild Bean Coffee Shop + Mark & Spencers Outlet + toilets.
Depart approx. 10:30hrs

Drive details :
About 90 minutes drive.
via Billingshurst/ Loxwood / Liss / Alton.

 

Location of Museum :

MILESTONES MUSEUM, Leisure Park, Churchill Way West, Basingstoke, RG22 6PG
From Junction 6 of the M3 follow the brown tourist signs for ‘Leisure Park’, driving clockwise around the ring road.
At the Thornycroft Roundabout (you will see Milestones ahead of you), take the first exit into Churchill Way West (B3400), for Milestones and the Leisure Park.  Go up to, and all the way round the next roundabout.
Enter the Leisure Park via Entrance B, signed Milestones, and turn right.
The museum lies straight ahead. There is free car parking outside the museum and four accessible parking spaces for disabled visitors close to the entrance, with a drop curb for easy access to the museum.

Explore what life was like for Hampshire people in the past by wandering through Milestones’ old cobbled streets.
Room sets from different decades will get you reminiscing about how we used to live and the everyday things we used “in the old days”.

Food & Refreshments:
There is a snack bar cafe on site or KFC/ McDonalds at the entrance roadway.

Concession (aged 60+) £9.00
Carer with paying disabled visitor FREE

Return Drive :
Nothing planned for the return drive,  so leaving this to individuals to decide what they wish to do for the drive home
